We are excited to recruit for this role at Golding and appoint a Maintenance Supervisor.
What you'll be doing
This is an great opportunity to set up a new team and oversee the management of efficient processes to support the effective delivery of repairs, cleaning procedures and improvements to our customers’ homes.
Supervising Trade Operatives and cleaners to deliver service requirements, including planning workloads, monitoring the quality of work, safe cleaning practices using chemicals and directing work ensuring completion within target timescales. Ensuring that personal, financial, and performance targets are either achieved or exceeded.
Work with stakeholders to ensure the success of the team, recruiting, inducting and providing leadership to establish a positive culture within the team, ensuring collaborative working with our Property Services Team to clean and remove and remediate Damp and Mould in our Homes.
Fostering a culture based on performance and focus on continuous improvement, exceptional customer service delivery, delivering value for money, and actively promoting and supporting Health, Safety and the Environment in the workplace.
More about you. What can you bring?
You'll have a minimum 3 years’ experience in supervising trade operatives.
Strong leadership and management skills and experience including performance management.
Strong technical knowledge of reactive repairs solutions across carpentry, plumbing and wet trades.
Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
Use of data to drive service.
Highly effective work organiser.
Financially aware, including being conscious of minimising costs whilst optimising productivity.
Understanding of the Social Housing Market, Voids, and Repairs and Maintenance service delivery.
Comprehensive working knowledge of Schedules of Rates and an appreciation of all trades.
Good Knowledge of Damp and Mould
Highly effective work organiser.
Financially aware, including being conscious of minimising costs whilst optimising productivity.
Excellent communicator demonstrating high degree of customer care.
Working knowledge and compliance with health and safety requirements.
NVQ level 3 qualification or City & Guilds in trades related discipline.

You will enjoy a 40-hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa £41,600 dependent upon your knowledge, skills and experience.

We are excited to recruit a Gas Engineer who is ready to make a difference to our customers’ lives.
You will be part of our repairs team and play a key role in shaping our future – as well as forging a great career.
What you'll be doing
You will be carrying out landlord gas safety inspections, breakdowns and fitting parts of domestic gas boilers. You may also be required to assist the repairs team with plumbing works. These works will be undertaken on both occupied and unoccupied properties to ensure our heating systems for our customers are compliant with legislation.

We are looking for highly motivated, customer-oriented people from all walks of life to bring the right skills to our team with a can-do attitude.
Completion of a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent and/or a minimum of NVQ level II or its equivalent i.e. relevant City & Guilds Certificate.
Relevant ACS including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1
City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 and Gas Safe Qualifications that are current.
You'll have extensive experience working in repairs and servicing on gas heating boilers and systems.
You’ll have experience of working in a fast-paced environment with set targets.
You must hold a current valid driving licence and please note a DBS is required for this role.

What you'll be doing
You will be supporting with all aspects of electrical maintenance for our customers, including fuse board upgrades, rewires, fault finding, accessory changes, EICR tests and general electrical testing as required. Ensuring our homes are safe compliant and habitable. The focus will be on high quality work, outstanding customer service and a right first-time attitude.
