Personal Development Grant

We offer Personal Development Grants to customers who need financial help to help improve their employment prospects, whether it be through training or learning, for example.
You can apply for up to £200 to cover the total cost or to contribute to a larger amount, and you don't need to pay it back. 
To apply you must live in a Golding Homes property. 
  • Applicants must be 16 or over 
  • Payment will be paid direct to suppliers and not to individuals
  • Grants will be given at the discretion of Golding Homes
  • All applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis
  • No applications for money for holidays will be accepted
  • No application for the repayment of debts will be accepted
  • We'll only consider events that have not yet taken place
  • Grants offered may be for less than the amount applied for

The Personal Development Grant form asks for personal information which is covered by the UK-General Data Protection Regulation (UK-GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.  Golding Homes (Golding) is a controller of personal information for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018. The grant application form includes a section on GDPR, with details on what we record, how we store and use it.

As a housing association Golding will keep data on tenants to fulfil their duty as a landlord. Golding may contact tenants via post, email, telephone, or SMS for general correspondence about their tenancy.
