100th sale provides new home for local nurse
On March 31 Golding completed their 100th new home sale for 2020/21 when Olivia and Michele moved in to their new shared ownership home in Hermitage Park in Maidstone.
Oliva, a busy Resuscitation Coordinator at the Princess Royal Hospital shared just what their new home means to them both. She said: “Pulling up to the house on the first day was one of those pinch me, is this really happening? moments. We are absolutely delighted to be in our new home. It still doesn't quite feel like it is ours, we both feel like we are house-sitting for someone that has gone on holiday and we will have to give it back at some point! But it really is our house and we are very excited to make it a home and share some memories in it.”
She continued: “The team at Golding Homes were really friendly and helpful. They were there on the doorstep ready to greet and welcome us and run through the house-demo and for that we are really grateful. Our welcome box and flowers were a really lovely personal touch and came in very handy. What an amazing opportunity we have been given to have a place to call our own and hopefully raise a family in.”
Over the past twelve months Golding Homes has completed 227 new homes in Kent, meaning 845 people have been able to move into a brand-new home.
“All profits from the sales of our homes are invested into building more new homes and improving our existing housing stock,” said Tom Casey, Director of Development and Sales for Golding Homes. “It has been a challenging 12 months, but I am so proud we have found Covid-safe solutions to ensure we can continue to deliver these much needed new homes in Kent for customers like Olivia.”
