Our team and governance
Golding Homes is governed through a clear and effective structure made up of our parent Board, two subsidiary companies and a number of specialist Committees.
Our Board provides overall leadership and direction. It sets our purpose, values and long ‑ term strategy, oversees performance, risk, finance and compliance, and holds our Executive Team to account for delivering safe, high ‑ quality homes and services. The Board brings independent challenge, makes decisions in Golding’s best interests, and ensures we act with integrity, transparency and a strong focus on our customers and communities.

Our Executive Team , led by Chief Executive Stephanie Goad, includes four Directors and is supported by our Senior Leadership Group .
How we make decisions
We're a Community Benefit Society, and our Rules [pdf] 2MB form our legal constitution. They set out our charitable purpose, the powers of the Board and shareholders, how Board members are appointed and how key decisions must be made.
Our Governance Standing Orders [pdf] 1MB explain how we're governed day-to- day, including how decisions are made, which responsibilities sit with the Board and Committees, and what authority is delegated to colleagues across the organisation.
We adopted the NHF Code of Governance 2020 [pdf] 127KB. This recognised sector standard helps ensure strong governance, accountability to customers and clarity about how the Board provides leadership, oversight and assurance. We assess our compliance with the Code each year and report this to the Board.
