Money matters this Christmas
Christmas is fast approaching, and we understand this may bring added financial pressure to our customers over the coming weeks. We also appreciate this year has been difficult with Covid-19 having an impact on many people's financial situations.
We are here to talk if you are struggling with money. It is important that you contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you on any challenges you may be facing at the moment and help you find a solution. You don’t have to deal with the situation on your own. Visit our rent page for more advice on how we can help you.
Please also be wary of loan sharks and possible scammers who might target customers in the run up to Christmas and New Year.
If you need any help with benefits or debt advice, we have an expert team of Benefit Advisors who are able to assist you free of charge. They can support with benefit assessments, helping with benefit claims, reviewing budgets, doing comparison checks on energy suppliers, and providing debt advice on priority bills. The team can also refer you to other organisations and agencies who may also be able to assist you. Please get in touch with us if you think you could benefit from this service.
Whilst we understand many of our customers are experiencing difficulties this year, it is still important to prioritise your rent. Christmas can be an expensive time of year but ensuring your rent is covered should be a priority.
There are many ways you can pay your rent, the simplest is online using our new customer portal, MyGolding.
