Working in partnership with Wellbeing People, Golding Vision have commissioned a series of animated films called ‘Eddie and Friends’ which are designed to engage pre-school children on a range of health and wellbeing topics.
The films are based around Eddie the Elephant and his adventures at Multicolour Cottage. Children learn about the importance of drinking water, whilst at the same time developing their numeracy and literacy skills. The third in the series is about normalising disability and has been supported by Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson.
The films are accompanied by a resource pack which includes activity sheets, lesson plans, parent and teacher guides and stickers. There is also an online educational portal with touch screen games and activities.
The resource pack is available to all Maidstone pre-schools free of charge. For more information please call Wellbeing People on 01622 834834 or email email@example.com
Disability Eddie was launched by Baroness Grey-Thompson and paralympian Steve Brown at the House of Lords in November 2016.
