Our partnership with KFRS in action

Keeping you and your family safe remains our number one priority, so we’re proud to work with Kent Fire and Rescue Service to make sure that together we’re focused on keeping you safe in your homes.

Recently one of our empty blocks that’s due to be demolished at our Shepway regeneration site was used for a training exercise to enhance the local crew’s skills and help develop their response to the challenge of different scenarios.

Donna Robinson, Building Safety Lead, Golding Homes said: “We value our partnership with Kent Fire and Rescue Services as key to the work we do to keep our customers safe. We understand how important it is that we support these skilled professionals and help local crews familiarise themselves with our buildings so that they remain ready to respond to the challenges of their unique role”.

Richard Howe, Crew Manager at Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “A big thank you to Golding Homes for their support with our work. This building enables us to practice our response and is an excellent opportunity to enhance our skills for search and rescue training scenarios. If we’re called to these types of homes, we need to get in there fast and prevent the spread of fire. Our partnership with Golding Homes has been going for many years now and it’s been a great opportunity to continue this relationship.”

Golding Homes and KFRS work together within a Primary Authority Partnership.
