2023 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Summary Report
We've published our 2022/23 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Summary Report detailing our progress on our ‘Making Golding Greener’ ambitions and doubles down on our commitments to tackle our most challenging sustainability issues and shares information on contributions to charitable and partnership initiatives.
As a local community-based housing association, we believe that by working to move away from fossil fuels, improving the energy affordability of their homes, building future-proof new homes, and managing green spaces in a way that’s better for wildlife and the health and wellbeing of customers, they can make a positive difference to customers and communities.
This past year Golding received SHIFT (Sustainable Homes Index for Tomorrow) Gold accreditation, successfully secure d financial support from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund to partner in their efforts to improve the energy efficiency of over 100 existing homes.

To provide: excellent customer services and, safe , sustainable homes and communities.
“ We’re proud of the progress we continue to make with ESG issues and remain focused on making our homes warmer and affordable to run and improving our environmental performance in all we do. We understand that as we invest in new social housing our social impact increases and it’s important to keep focused on how we support our ethical governance principles.”
Golding adopted the Sustainability Reporting Standard (SRS) this year and is committed to looking ahead, listening to customers, providing safe sustainable homes and communities, delivering a sustainable service for the benefit of existing customers and future generations.
