A Day of Adventures thanks to the Community Chest Grant

Vulnerable and disadvantaged young people enjoyed a day of adventures at Chessington theme park thanks to a Commmunity Chest Grant from Golding Vision.
The Young Lives Foundation were awarded a grant of £500 towards a respite trip for children during the Summer Holidays, and wrote about their adventures on their blog Chessington Adventures!
YLF is one of a number of local charities and groups that have benefitted from the Community Chest Fund which is run by Golding Vision, the charitable arm of Golding Homes.
Caroline McBride, Head of Community Development at Golding Homes said: “We were delighted to have helped support the trip for young people at The Young Lives Foundation. It has been lovely to read all about their day on the Blog and we are glad they all had such an amazing time".
“I want to say thank you to YLF and Golding Homes for the trip today because I have had a brilliant time!” said Aaron.
Small grants of up to £1,000 are offered to Maidstone based community, voluntary or charity groups to help fund projects and activities that benefit their local community. Entries are open for the next round and will close on 1st October.
