Access for All 2016 Charlton FC

A free activity and information event, which supports the health and wellbeing of people with disabilities, returns to Maidstone on Saturday 2 September from 10am -1pm at the Market Hall, Lockmeadow.

Hosted by Golding Vision, the community arm of local housing association Golding Homes, this year’s Access for All event has been inspired by Invictus Games and will showcase a range of activities and services provided by local clubs and organisations for people with disabilities, their families and carers.

Organisations and clubs that will be attending on the day include; Leybourne Grange Riding School for the Disabled, Pegasus Gymnastics Club, Maidstone United Raiders Football Club, Maidstone YMCA and MS Therapy.  There will also be sporting demonstrations from Gravesend Dynamite Wheelchair Rugby and Charlton Athletic.

In addition, there will be a host of free entertainment and activities for families including a magic show, face painting and a bouncy castle.

Caroline McBride, Head of Community Development for Golding Homes said:  “This is the only event of its kind in Maidstone for people with disabilities and is a great opportunity to find out what services are on offer locally.  There will also be lots of fun activities for families to enjoy, along with a free ice cream for every child.”
