Alan's Skydive Challenge
Alan Dale in our Environmental Services Team will be swapping his caretaking duties to take on a brave challenge to raise funds for our Charity of the Year.
On 10th August Alan and his wife Kirsty with be doing a tandem skydive at Headcorn Aerodrome and hope to raise £800 for Heart of Kent Hospice.
Earlier this year, Alan’s mum sadly lost her battle with cancer and the Hospice provided bereavement counselling to the family during this difficult time. Alan says: “We wanted to give something back to the Hospice for all the support they gave us and the idea of doing a tandem skydive appealed to both of us. I think it’s something that you’ve got to do once in your lifetime and it just seems right that we are doing it to raise money for such a good cause."
