Christmas comes early to Maidstone charity Space 2 Be Me

Each year our community arm, Golding Vision, donate Christmas hampers to a local charity who support people experiencing financial hardship.
This year staff at Golding Homes selected Space 2 Be Me as the chosen charity to receive the Christmas goodies. Space 2 Be Me are a Maidstone based charity that works with disabled children, young people with additional needs and their families across West Kent.
Last Friday Helen Critcher, Community Development Advisor at Golding Homes visited the charity at their office in Maidstone to deliver the food hampers. She said: "Space 2 Be Me were selected by Golding Homes staff to receive the hampers, as a special thank you for the huge contribution they make to the lives of disabled children and their families across west Kent. We hope that the 20 families that will receive the hampers enjoy their Christmas treats.”
Claire Haffenden, Manager of Space 2 Be Me said: “We were delighted to hear that Golding Homes had chosen Space 2 Be Me to receive hampers this year. Every recipient of a hamper will be a family with at least one child with a disability or additional needs. Our parent members always prioritise their children over themselves, so it is lovely for us to be able to provide treats for every member of the family.”
