Golding Homes appoints new Chief Executive

Gary Clark has been appointed as the new Chief Executive for Golding Homes.

Currently Operations Director at mhs homes Gary brings over 18 years experience in the housing sector to this role, having held senior and Director positions in a number of housing associations including Moat, Peabody and Rosebery Housing Association.  He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

Gary, who lives in Tonbridge, will be joining Golding Homes on 12 June when he takes over from Peter Stringer who will be retiring after nearly 37 years of service.

Golding Homes’ chairman, Roger Ford said: “We are delighted to have appointed Gary who has a wealth of experience and expertise within the sector to lead the company at this important time.  We are looking forward to working with Gary to build on the success of Golding Homes and to continue our mission to build quality homes and create communities where people choose to live.

“I would also like to pay tribute to Peter Stringer for his vision and ambition in developing Golding Homes into one of the leading housing associations in Kent, with a reputation for investing in its communities and building high quality affordable homes.”

Speaking about his appointment, Gary said: “I’m so proud to have been part of mhs homes for the last four years and for the great strides we have made.  Now looking to the future, I am really excited to be joining Golding Homes as its new Chief Executive and look forward to some exciting new opportunities and challenges ahead.”

Golding Homes owns and manages over 7,200 homes across Kent and since being established in 2004 it has invested over £150m in large scale regeneration projects, as well as supported its residents through a £3m community investment programme.  During that time it has also built over 1,200 new properties, providing homes for over 10,000 people with an aspiration to build a further 200 homes every year.
