Golding Homes Development Team volunteer at Dandelion Time
The Golding Homes Development & Sales team has been busy working hard while volunteering at local Kent charity Dandelion Time as part of the Golding Giveback scheme. The scheme supports colleagues to give one day a year as a volunteer for a charitable organisation whose work benefits our communities.
The team dug deep, wielded paint brushes and mixed concrete; they painted the old Pottery with a heat reflecting paint, laid a concrete base for a greenhouse, completed carpentry work, created a path in the new courtyard garden, filled the base for a new eating area and waterproofed a toilet in the woods!
Tom Casey, Development and Sales Director said: "We thought we would be doing some gardening, a little weeding and maybe some general maintenance. We were certainly put to good use throughout the day with a long list of jobs.
It was great day with the team, and very rewarding to see the difference we had made for this fantastic local charity."
Dandelion Time is a charity which helps to transform the lives of traumatised children in Kent allowing them to build self-belief, strengthen relationships and develop the skills and aspirations for a brighter future.
