Golding Homes supports Dandelion Time

Golding Homes has generously supported Dandelion Time this year with a grant of £1,000 towards helping to create a new project area on its farm in West Farleigh to support children affected by emotional or behavioural issues
This funding has helped to meet the cost of the materials to create an arbour and outdoor seating area. The new project area includes a yurt, an outdoor eating and barbequing area, and a clay pizza oven, and is now being used to run additional project sessions with disadvantaged children and young people such as wool-work, bread and pizza making and other crafts.
Dandelion Time is one of a number of local charities and groups that have benefitted from the Community Chest Fund which is run by Golding Vision, the charitable arm of Golding Homes.
Caroline McBride, Head of Community Development at Golding Homes said: “We were delighted to support this project for such as worthwhile cause. It was also lovely to hear that the children and families are really benefiting from this much needed additional space.”
Small grants of up to £1,000 are offered to Maidstone based community, voluntary or charity groups to help fund projects and activities that benefit their local community. Entries are open for the next round and will close on 1st October.
