Golding Vision donate Christmas hampers to local charity

Golding Vision, the community arm of housing association Golding Homes, has donated 20 Christmas hampers to the local charity Dandelion Time to help make a difference to families in need this Christmas.
Helen Critcher, Community Development Advisor at Golding Homes visited the charity at its small farm, near Maidstone this week to deliver the food hampers. She said: "Dandelion Time was selected by Golding Homes staff to receive the hampers, as a special thank you for the huge contribution they make to supporting troubled families in our local community. Thirty percent of families referred to the charity are Golding Homes' residents. We hope that the 20 families that receive the hampers enjoy the lovely treats and have a Merry Christmas."
Jane Angell-Payne, Lead Finance and Operating Officer at Dandelion Time, said "We are so pleased that we were chosen to receive these Christmas hampers. It is something practical that the whole family can share, and will really make a difference to their Christmas.”
Dandelion Time is a local charitable project that works with disadvantaged children and families experiencing serious behavioural and emotional difficulties. They deliver a practical therapeutic programme; enabling families to overcome their emotional issues, grow in confidence and self esteem.
Some of the hampers donated by Golding Vision will be handed out to families at the Dandelion Time family Christmas Party, with the remainder being distributed to other families in need over the next few weeks.
