New affordable homes coming to Sutton Valence
We've exchanged contracts with award-winning Kent-based housebuilder Fernham Homes to deliver 43 new affordable homes in Sutton Valence.
The mix of 1 and 2-bedroom apartments and 3-bedroom houses will be available for affordable rent and shared ownership and are due for completion by mid-2027.
They’ll form part of a countryside community in the historic village comprising 110 new homes, all s et within eight acres of landscaping and open space. In addition to the homes, it’ll also see the creation of a much-needed new GP surgery for the village where existing facilities are currently running at capacity , along with a new local convenience store with space to incorporate a Post Office.
The new affordable homes will be powered by air source heat pumps and have access to an electric vehicle charger, supporting Golding’s sustainability strategy and ensuring that customers have a high quality and sustainable home that is cost effective to run.
Tom Casey, director of development and strategic asset management at Golding Homes, said: “ We’re delighted to be working with Fernham Homes to deliver these much-needed new home s, which will help meet local housing need in this area of Maidstone.”
