Our Tenants' Conference

Tenants Conference 25 June 2016

Staying safe online and growing your own fruit and veg were just a few topics on the agenda at our annual Tenants’ Conference on Saturday 25 June.

Held at our Head Office, residents heard about the latest community projects and  service developments from Golding Homes’ staff and joined in a debate about the changing housing environment.  They also took part in Fraud Awareness workshops from Barclays and learnt about the community garden projects Golding Vision has developed with Garden Organic.

Golding resident Geraldine Liston said:  “I enjoy coming along to the Tenants’ Conference each year and have learnt a lot about Golding Homes.  It is a chance to meet people from other estates and hear what they have to say.  I have also made some new friends too.”

Rosie Harvey sees the Tenants’ Conference as a chance for resident to have their say. “I feel we have a ‘voice’ in the decision making and that’s very important.”

The event is organised by our Head of Customer Services, Sarah Dey, who said: “It was a really informative day and were have received some lovely feedback from our residents.  These events are vital as they support our commitment to customer engagement and involvement.”

We are always keen to hear from our residents who would like to get involved in helping to shape our services.  For more details visit our website at www.goldinghomes.org.uk or contact our Community Development Team on 0300 777 2600.
