Here are some top tips from Wellbeing People on how to improve your overall wellbeing and happiness

  1. Strike a Power Pose
Body language may be a lot more important than you imagined. It affects not just how you’re perceived by others, but also your internal body chemistry. That’s right, holding your body in a certain position literally changes the way you are.
There are two kinds of power poses: high and low. A high-power pose usually means having your body open rather than hunched up. That means chest out, arms spread, no slouch. Most simply, it means that you try to take up a great deal of space.
This is a no-tech lifehack that you can do while you sit or stand, while you’re alone or with others: Holding certain poses gives you more confidence and helps you to function better.

  2. See some green
Take a stroll in the woods. fields or your garden. Surrounding yourself with shrubs and greenery.
Research has shown that the colour green provides a boost in motivation, happiness and increased energy. Who doesn’t want some of that! This is a simple life hack that is super easy to do living in Kent! What a lush green town we live in!

  3. Discover or rediscover a passion
Take the time to consider your passions. Doing something you love or improving a skill that you want to focus on is a sure-fire way to improve your overall mental wellbeing. Everyone is different and it might take some focus to find your underlying passions but when you do make it your mission to spend time nurturing and developing it. Some ideas could be sewing, drawing, singing, fishing, learning to play something….
