Responsible pet owners days

We understand the benefits owning a pet can have and recently changed our Pets Policy to enable customers to keep pets in their homes, regardless of their property size.

Being a pet owner, whether it’s a dog, cat or small mammal is a privilege. Pets bring so much joy and love into our lives but being a responsible pet owner is a big commitment. Pets need our help to maintain a happy, healthy, long life.

This summer we’re holding two events to promote responsible pet ownership, giving you the opportunity to come along and speak to professionals about your furry friends. We’ll be joined by Maidstone Borough Council, Kent County Council, The Dogs Trust, Cats Protection and many more. You’ll also be able to learn more about pet first aid and what you can do to help when your pet becomes ill.

Join us on one of the following dates (no need to book):

  • Tuesday 30 July, 10am - 2pm – Shepway Green, Shepway

  • Tuesday 13 August, 10am – 2pm – Park Wood Recreation Ground, Parkwood
