We present FareShare Kent with KEiBA Award

Golding Homes was proud to sponsor the Business Commitment to the Community Award category at last weeks Kent Excellence in Business Award. KEiBA showcases the very best of businesses in Kent which are making a huge contribution to the county’s economy.
As a winner of the Business Commitment to the Community Award in 2013 we understand the passion that is needed to make a difference to the community in which we live. Caroline McBride, Head of Community Development, and Peter Stringer, former CEO at Golding Homes, were delighted to be able to present FareShare Kent with the award on the night.
Caroline said: “We are proud to support KEiBA in celebrating success within business across Kent and congratulations to FareShare Kent for winning the Business Commitment to the Community award. The company showed a huge commitment to making a difference to the wider community and supporting local charities, and we were really impressed by the impact their work is having in tackling food poverty across Kent.”
FareShare Kent is a member of the national FareShare network. They began operations in July 2014, ensuring good quality surplus food in Kent doesn't go to waste and instead goes to local community and charitable organisations to help them with their work.
