Working in partnership to tackle worklessness

Golding Homes hosted an Employability and Skills Forum at our offices this week, bringing together local training and employment organisations based in and around Maidstone.
Members of the Forum, which include JobCentre Plus, Go Train and Tomorrows People, were able to share information and resources, helping to provide enhanced skills and employability services within the community. The agenda included discussing social inclusion and making plans for the next Maidstone Jobs Fair.
Amy Dennison, Employment Advisor at Golding Homes chaired the meeting. She said: “The Employability and Skills Forum brings together training and employability providers who want to work in partnership to tackle worklessness. Our goal is to work jointly to increase the training and employment opportunities available in the area”.
The Employability and Skills Forum meet every three months chaired by Golding Homes at our Head Office in Allington. If you are interested in attending the next Forum or finding out about our Workwise services then please contact Amy Dennison on 0300 777 2600 or visit the Employment Services page.
