How is my rent calculated? | 25-26 Rent increase Shared Ownership FAQs

Every year, we review rents in line with the terms of your shared ownership lease. While each lease differs, and the terms are specific to you, these are often based on Retail Prices Index (RPI) in September 2024, compared to that of the previous year, plus 0.5%, or by 0.5%, whichever is higher. The calculation for your rent will be included with this FAQ.
