Fires aren’t the best way to get rid of garden waste or other unwanted items, so please don’t light bonfires in your garden. During warmer weather it’s even more likely outdoor fires will get out of hand.

If you’re a keen gardener and regularly have garden waste to get rid of, it’s worth looking into getting a garden bin from the local authority.

Maidstone Borough Council also offers a bulky collection service you can use to have large items removed or you can find your local Household Waste Recycling Centre where you can take most items yourself.
