Hate Crime

H ate Crimes are crimes that are committed because of someone’s disability, race, religion, gender-identity or sexual orientation.  

Hate Crimes are a criminal offence and must be reported to the Police either online  or by calling 101.  

If you are concerned for your immediate safety, please call Kent Police on 999.   

Hate crimes include (but aren't limited to): Threatening or abusive behaviour , harassment, a ssault , robbery, and i n cit ing others to commit hate crimes . Hate Crime can also be name calling, damage to your house, car or property, attacks or violence, graffiti, arson or fire.   

Once you've reported it to Kent Police, make sure you also report it to us and include your crime reference number so that we can work with the Police. Our colleagues are trained to help and support you, please get in contact with us if we can help.
