You can find help and support from the National Domestic Violence Helpline, Women’s Aid and Refuge. Call 0808 2000 247. 

You can also download the Bright Sky app onto your mobile device. Bright Sky allows you to record incidents of domestic abuse and has details of support agencies that can help you. 


Other support services include: 

  • Kent and Medway Domestic Abuse Support Services offers advice and information on services for victims, friends & family, and perpetrators of Domestic Abuse and can link you with local services. 

  • Men’s Advice Line: a confidential helpline for male victims of domestic abuse and those supporting them. Contact on: 0808 801 0327. 

  • Galop: runs the National LGBT+ Domestic Abuse specialist helpline. Contact: 0800 999 5428. Email: help@galop.org.uk 

  • Stonewall provides domestic violence and abuse resources for LGBTQ+ community 

  • Hourglass provides help and advice to end the harm, abuse and exploitation of older people in the UK. Contact on 0808 808 8141 

  • Victim Support offers free, confidential advice for all survivors of domestic abuse. Contact on 08 08 16 89 111 

  • Surviving economic abuse is a UK charity that provides information and resources on economic abuse for victim-survivors and professionals 

  • Respect work with perpetrators of domestic abuse to help them change their behaviour. Call free on 0808 8024040 Monday-Friday 9am-8pm 

Safe Spaces 

If you need a safe space, pharmacies including Boots, Superdrug, Morrisons and hundreds of independent pharmacies across the UK provide ‘Safe Spaces’ in their consultation rooms for people experiencing domestic abuse.
