Supporting customers through Covid
At Golding, it is important to us that we do all we can to help our customers during this difficult time so have been looking at ways in which we can provide further support.
Golding Giving
We have recently relaunched our Golding Giving hardship fund. The fund supports customers who are struggling financially during the current Covid-19 pandemic. For more information or to find out how to apply please visit our Golding Giving page.
Transport for OPAL customers
We are working with a volunteer driving service to provide transport to OPAL customers to travel to locations for their Covid-19 vaccines. Get in touch with the OPAL service if you could benefit from this service.
Homeschooling bags
We equipped our Operatives with homeschooling bags that they could hand out to families who have children learning at home through lockdown, as a little pick-me-up. Items inside the bags include notebooks, rainbow pencils, pens, rubbers, post-its, a stress ball, and a water bottle.
Food Parcels
Food parcels have been distributed to customers in need to help them through these difficult times. By having conversations with customers, our front-line colleagues were able to identify households who may benefit from these food supplies, and either hand them out at the time or arrange for them to be safely collected from our office.
