Energy costs over the last few years have risen significantly, mainly due to external factors affecting the cost of oil. While this hit many customers on their personal bills in the last year or so, Golding Homes had a 5-year contract in place which comes to an end this year. Despite energy costs becoming more stable, energy prices were much lower 5 years ago when we locked in our energy tariffs. This means our energy costs have increased and this increase will be passed on in service charge estimates this year.
