We're working in partnership with established housebuilder Croudace to provide 51 more brand new affordable rent and shared ownership homes at Hermitage Park.
This phase of the development includes 31 affordable rent, and 20 shared ownership houses. The 22 two-bedroom, 35 three-bedroom and four 4-bedroom houses are due for handover from June 2026 and will provide homes for up to 246 people when complete.
Golding Homes has worked very closely with Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council and Croudace to provide the tenure mix, property types and delivery timings which meets the needs of customers on this popular development.
The development includes open green space with a net biodiversity gain of 20%. Sustainable features are set to include air source heat pumps and electric vehicle chargers to all homes.
Reflecting on the boost this news will give towards addressing local housing need, Tom Casey, Director of Development and Strategic Asset Management at Golding Homes, said: “We’re delighted to continue our partnership with Croudace for 51 new affordable homes on the Hermitage Park scheme. In recent years, we’ve completed 150 homes with Croudace on the same site and have been impressed by the quality and placemaking features. We look forward to welcoming new customers into these homes in the coming years.”
Matthew Norris, Managing Director, Croudace Homes – South Thames said: “We are extremely proud of the growing community at Hermitage Park, where we continue to deliver a range of quality homes to meet a critical local need for safe and well-designed places for people to live. In total, this includes the delivery of in excess of 280 new affordable homes across the development as a whole, in a mixture of affordable rent and shared ownership units. In this light, it is particularly pleasing to cement our ongoing partnership with Golding Homes to deliver this latest phase of 51 affordable homes.”
